Nebraska native Ingrid Griffin drops her new album It’s All Just Songwriting Material today on streaming sites. HERE are links to her music, videos and more. Griffin attends University of Southern California, where she is to graduate soon. Her songs range from pop country to folk or Americana like pop music. The strongest example of the later is “Aphrodite'“, a plucky pop song full of stringed instruments. Many of the songs will relate to persons her own age, as she says in her press release, the “album weaves desperate moments trying to win back a past love (“Throwing Pebbles,” track 3), feeling out-of-place at college parties (“Red Cup,” track 4), and more. “This album is a tapestry of the hopes, heartaches, epiphanies, mistakes, and adventures from my four years of college.”
