Happy Tuesday! We do not have to combine with Wednesday this week, as there is actually plenty going on tonight to write about. You can subscribe to Omaha Buzz below and get all of the content sent to you in your email. It is free to subscribe. If you are able to switch over to a paid subscription, that really helps offset the time put into this. You do not get anything extra, as the goal is to use this content to get ALL people out to shows, but it really is appreciated and keeps me from going the dreaded ad route. Thank you! See you at the shows— MarQ
Other ways to support if you do not want to subscribe or want to support further. Thank you!

HERE is last weeks album list, my thoughts on some and the playlist for the week.
This is cool. In 2020, Samantha Crain put out her sixth album, A Small Death, which ended up being my introduction to her. The story behind that album is wild—look it up. It was a favorite of mine that year. She just released Gumshoe on May 2nd, and I recommend putting it on and then heading to the show at Reverb Lounge tonight. It’s an excellent follow-up, and I have never seen her live, but my gut is saying this is a show not to miss.
According to the internet, it has been 15 years since our area last saw the Clowns perform. That was at Westfair over in Iowa. It has been 25 years since they graced an Omaha stage at the long-gone Ranch Bowl. I'm pretty sure there are still Faygo bottles in some of the ditches on Dodge Street. New generations of Nebraska Juggalos will be able to find out if magnets really work when Insane Clown Posse play at The Admiral tonight. Plus, the opener will be professional wrestling! They just performed at Bonnaroo and the rest of the festival was canceled after they played. Whoop whoop!
It’s odd, Tonino Baliardo and Nicholas Reyes are original members of the Gypsy Kings and both are listed on all official sites and social media as current members of the Gypsy Kings, but they both tour separately. Omaha will get the Tonino Baliardo version, and he was an original guitar player in the band that was formed out of two families. The Gypsy Kings were massive in the late 80s and well into the 90s and are a favorite of many. They are at Holland Center tonight.
Legendary horn based rock and roll band Chicago rides into Lincoln this year for a show at Pinewood Bowl Theater tonight.
Maybe it is because of the Metallica song, but I feel like Creeping Death has been around since the 80’s. Not true. The band has only been around for a decade, and in that decade the death metal band have released some EP’s and two full length albums. They will be at The Waiting Room tonight with Kruelty.
