It’s the 30th anniversary of Tripping Daisy’s album I Am an Elastic Firecracker, which featured the hit “I Got a Girl.” You know that song! “I got a girl, I love her dog too.” See! Tim from Tripping Daisy later went on to form the successful band Polyphonic Spree. The 30th Anniversary tour hits the Waiting Room on June 27th. Tickets go on sale Friday HERE.

This is kind of wild! Punk legend Mike Ness and Social Distortion will be at Bourbon Theater on July 7th. That’s a big band for that room. Last year, they came through Nebraska for the first time in a while and played The Astro. That show felt like a return to form, with Ness and the band really delivering the kind of performance we long-time fans expect. This one could be very cool. Well, you can experience him live and in person (don’t actually Shazam him) when the singer-songwriter brings his latest album *One Day Home* to The Waiting Room on November 6th. I cannot tell you how many times I have killed Krang in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game. It looks I like I will have to do battle with the skate punk version of Krang on the street of Benson. The Czech band will bring their wild performance to The Sydney on June 9th. Tickets on sale HERE

I guess we’re already booking for Halloween! I'm all about fast-forwarding until then. On November 1st, Dani Thorne, aka COM3T—a self-taught DJ and producer living in Los Angeles—will be at Barnato. She has performed at all the major festivals and even appeared on the TV show Hannah Montana. Tickets on sale HERE

You know that Russell Dickerson guy up toward the top of the page? Well, he sang a song with Jake Scott called “She Liked It.” Scott will be at Slowdown and will be performing his new country-pop tunes, such as “Why Didn’t I,” along with others. Tickets go on sale Friday HERE

Jon Pardi is a Stir Cove favorite, so it’s only natural that he would head to Harrah’s with his new album Honkytonk Hollywood recently released. He’ll be bringing along Jake Worthington and Colby Acuff. I’ve seen Colby perform at Buck’s Bar and Grill and enjoyed him quite a bit. Tickets go on sale Friday HERE.

Our friends from South Dakota, The Spill Canvas, released an album called One Fell Swoop 20 years ago. Around the same time, their friends Mae released an album called The Everglow. Both bands will be playing those albums on October 4th at Waiting Room. Tickets go on sale HERE on Friday.

Diva Bleach from Arizona has a song out with Suckerpunch called “Not My Ex.” They also have a new album called *Can You Keep a Secret*, which features a poppy and alt-rock sound. They will be at Reverb on June 2nd, and you can get tickets HERE
