Irish and Scottish band (from California) Gaelic Storm will be at Steelhouse Omaha tonight. We are coming up on St. Patrick’s Day and this gives you an excuse to start the whole thing right now. Gaelic Storm was in a little known movie called Titanic. Opening is Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band, and they are a party all by themselves.
Paisley Fields is a country singer-songwriter and touring member of queer country legends Lavender Country. With songs like “Ride Me Cowboy”, you know that this will be a fun night at the Sydney this evening. Joining them will be Jeremy Mercy & The Rapture Orphans and Tumbleweed.
I must have missed the sea shanty viral TikTok trend, but it happened, and these four guys were a part of it. I am guessing if you know, you know. What I know is that these guys collaborated on this trend but never met in person. They now record and tour together as The Wellermen. They bring their show, which sounds like a lot of fun, to Reverb Lounge tonight. I hope they have a lot of rum in stock.
Red dirt band Southall (or Read Southall Band) will be celebrating the ten year anniversary of their debut album Six Strings of Sorrow tonight at Bourbon Theatre.
Indianapolis post-rock band Pillars is heading to Lincoln with Infuriate out of Minneapolis and both will join area bands Disrepair and Blowing Chunks at El Proyecto in Lincoln tonight.
Denver groove rock band RADO come through the area occasionally and do a two night stand. It is that time again, but this time there are three opportunities to see the band. RADO will be at Bodega’s Alley tonight in Lincoln with Underbite. They will be at the B. Bar on Friday and Saturday night
