Seventeen Concerts Announced This Week For Omaha and Lincoln

Omaha indie synth rock legends The Faint sold out The Waiting Room very quickly on their last run through town. This time they are at the site of many of the bands much remembered shows at The Admiral. They are bringing along Hercules & Love Affair on this tour which is a solid add. Hard rock hit-makers Spiritbox, who have seemed to open up for many acts as they have come through the area, are headlining a tour which will stop at Steelhouse Omaha. The band is touring on the album Tsunami Sea, which has been a monster success for them. Prog metal band Periphery, who have been out doing this for a couple decades now, will join them. Up-and-coming act Honey Revenge rounds out the bill. Tickets go on sale Friday HERE.
The 2025 Punk Rock BBQ lineup has been announced for this year's annual show at The Waiting Room. Headlining will be Minneapolis hardcore band Off With Their Heads. Joining them will be Omaha ska legends Jimmy Skaffa, who will reunite to play tribute to band member Kelley Raf, who will have passed a year prior to this show. Pull The Plug, The Utilitarians, Look Up Here, Corporate Citizen, Million Dollar Veins, Bombs Blast, Cordial Spew, and Fueled By Spite will round out the lineup. Pop group Lucius has collaborated with pretty much everyone. If an album comes out, there is a good chance you will see a “feat. Lucius” tag on it. Everyone from War On Drugs to Joni Mitchell to John Prine and Harry Styles. The group also put out their own music, and they are touring on their self-titled album currently. That will bring them to Slowdown on October 7th, with tickets going on sale Friday HERE.
Heavy metal band The Sword put out the anniversary edition of their 2010 album Warp Riders this past April. They are taking that out on tour and heading to Waiting Room on October 1st. Tickets go on sale Friday HERE
Rapper Sada Baby is coming to Bourbon Theater on The Wang Tour on October 8th. The "Bloxk Party"and “"Whole Lotta Choppas" performers tickets are on sale HERE
Popular modern reggae band The Movement has played at Slowdown before and even was one of their big outside shows during College World Series. This time they will perform inside and bring some island vibes to Omaha in the winter months when they perform at Slowdown on November 9th. Tickets are on sale Friday HERE.
Classic rock bands Heart and Cheap Trick will bring boatloads of hits to Baxter Arena on December 2nd. Tickets are on sale HERE on Friday.
Artists who have performed in various versions of Motown’s classic groups will bring that Motown sound to the holidays on November 15th at the Orpheum. Tickets are on sale HERE on Friday.
Sierra Marin does reggae, hip-hop and folk and does it all at the same time. The singer-songwriter, producer and healer from San Diego will be at Reverb Lounge on August 2nd. Tickets are on sale HERE
Tape B is known for blending soundscapes deep in nostalgia and futuristic bass. He just had an immediate sell-out for his debut show coming up at the famed Red Rocks in Colorado and is heading out on his biggest headlining tour yet. Industrial metal band Fear Factory are celebrating 30 years of their popular album Demanufacture. They will take this tour to Bourbon Theater on September 30th. Tickets on sale HERE on Friday

Country artist Kip Moore was awarded the International Artist Achievement Award at the 2024 CMA’s. He has been bringing his music all over the world lately, and will bring it and songs from his new 23 track album Solitary Tracks to Lincoln at the Bourbon Theater. You can get tickets HERE on Friday.
