With links to the actual ticket sites
According to the internet, it has been 15 years since our area last saw the Clowns perform. That was at Westfair over in Iowa. It has been 25 years since they graced an Omaha stage at the long-gone Ranch Bowl. I'm pretty sure there are still Faygo bottles in some of the ditches on Dodge Street. New generations of Nebraska Juggalos will be able to find out if magnets really work at The Admiral on June 17th. Plus, the opener will be professional wrestling! Tickets go on sale Friday for Insane Clown Posse HERE (this will sell out).
Last week, we announced that Amy Grant would be performing in Lincoln. This week, we are get to announce that Flamy Grant will be at The Sydney on June 24th. She blends country, folk, gospel, and roots music and is the first drag queen to chart on both the iTunes Christian Music Chart and Billboard’s Christian Music Chart. Look… Nu Metal is all the rage again, especially with young people. I see it every day at the record store—teenagers in Korn hoodies, buying Slipknot CDs, and asking me to order obscure titles from System of a Down side projects. You’re going to see a lot of package tours like this in the next few years.
Nu-metal band Mudvayne will celebrate the 25th anniversary of LD.50 at Steelhouse Omaha on September 21st. Also on the lineup is Static-X, who will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of Wisconsin Death Trip. I feel like we sold more copies of that Static-X album than Mudvayne’s back in the day at Homer’s. Hmmmm… Tickets go on sale Friday HERE

Stick with me here. Leonid and Friends are a Russian group that recreates the music of the band Chicago. Until recently, they had never seen Chicago live themselves. The band has released multiple Chicago tribute albums after going viral on YouTube. They also perform songs by artists such as Earth, Wind & Fire, Tower of Power, and The Ides of March, for some reason. “Vehicle” is a great song. Check them out at the Holland Center on September 29th. Tickets go on sale HERE this Friday.
