First Weekly Calendar of 2024

Including a couple new developments on the live music scene

Happy New Year!

This week starts off very slow, as expected, aside from the Laura Jane Grace show at The Slowdown tonight and Da Crabby Blues Band at Shucks. The weekend looks jam-packed, and there are a couple of new things I want to point out.

The first is that Whiskey Roadhouse at Horseshoe Casino is bringing back live music and has a full calendar of cover bands and tribute acts for the weekends in January. It starts off this weekend with Taxi Driver, though I do think they had some band out there in December also.

The second is that Bushwackers is doing local music on Sunday afternoons, and it is for all ages. Food will be available with sliders from Chef Hyde, there will be games for the kids, and they say that with permission from parents, the mechanical bull will be rode. Performing this Sunday is Shadow Ridge.
