Metalcore band Zao has been active since the 90s. The band started in 1993, but the core of the band that continues to this day stems from 1998. The band has both a Christian and secular following, but has distanced its music from the former. It’s been a minute since they released a studio album, but they did release Live from the Church in 2024. They will be at Reverb Lounge on August 11th. Tickets go on sale this Friday HERE.
Popular Ohio DJ Crankdat will be at The Royal Grove on August 22nd. The DJ is known for his original music, but more so for remixing artists such as Fetty Wap, Black Eyed Peas, Post Malone, Lil Yachty, Travis Scott, The Chainsmokers, and more. Tickets for the show are on sale HERE
Pop duo Jack & Jack originally come from Omaha. When they were teens, the duo hit it big on the Vine app. They went on to chart singles all over the world, then pursued solo careers, and are now back together. I believe their last show was at Waiting Room not too long ago, and it sold out. They released a new album last year and just put out a single called “baby blue” a couple of weeks ago.
There is another artist named Jack from Omaha who goes by just Jack, but this is not him. I would have had him open just to really mess with people. Tickets for this show are on sale HERE on Friday.
John Garcia was the lead vocalist of stoner rock pioneers Kyuss. He is coming to Slowdown on July 11th to perform the songs of Kyuss. Tickets are on sale HERE
Abi Carter was your American Idol, at least last year. Carter won Season 22 in 2024 and also released the album Ghosts in the Backyard that same year. Abi continues her victory lap at Reverb Lounge on October 20th. Tickets are on sale HERE
The queen of all things Christian pop, Amy Grant, returns to Nebraska on September 10th, baby! baby! Tickets on sale for the Lied Center performance are on sale HERE
Evan Bartels is from Nebraska. Bartels is a country singer with some very big things happening. He just signed with William Morris Endeavor, which, if you have even a slight knowledge of entertainment and sports, you know is a big deal. Very soon, he will be opening shows for Hank Williams Jr. here in America and Charles Wesley Godwin in Europe.
After that, he will head to Bucks Bar and Grill in Venice, Nebraska, to play a show on June 21st. You will want to get tickets HERE ASAP. He also has a new EP coming out on May 23rd, and the first couple of songs are very good.
Neo-traditional country trio the Castellows (yes, they are sisters) from Georgia will release their debut album, Homecoming , on May 30th. The album includes the song “Place They Call Home” featuring Flatland Calvary. You can check them out at The Bourbon Theater on October 2nd, with tickets going on sale HERE this Friday.
His name is Creed Fisher and he likes America, the south, drinking (whiskey) and “Crankin’ Hank.” He is a country singer if you didn’t figure that out. He makes his debut at Bourbon Theater on August 14th. Tickets are on sale HERE on Friday.
Formed in the 80’s, death metal band Suffocation came to prominence in the early 90’s. The band continue to tour and record and will be making a stop at Bourbon Theater on July 21st. You can get tickets HERE on Friday
Country artists Dustin Lynch and Scotty McCreery have made recent appearances in Nebraska, but on December4th they will return together for a show at Liberty First Arena. Tickets on sale Friday HERE.
Liverpool sludge/doom metal band Conan will be heading to Benson to play The Waiting Room on September 23rd. The band are on tour for it’s new album Violence Dimension, which came out last week. Can’t find the ticket link, but it should show up on WaitingRoomLounge.com
Canadian country singer Alli Walker is coming to Barnato on July 31st. She likes big trucks, dirt on us, and whiskey. Earlier this year she released the song “First Time Living” with Gretchen Wilson and last week put out the song “I Saw the Devil”. Tickets on sale HERE on Friday.
Country rocker Austin Meade and southern rock band Them Dirty Roses combine forces for a co-headlining gig at Barnato on August 2nd. You can grab tickets HERE on Friday.
Riley Green as been doing this for awhile, but the country singers 2024 might have been his best year yet. He had his first Top 10 country album and single and is now headlining arena’s like Pinnacle Bank Arena. He will be joined by other country stars Jamey Johnson and Drake White for the show on November 20th. Tickets on sale Friday HERE.

Fifteen year old country singer Maddox Baston is 15. He is one of the youngest signees to Warner Brothers Records, and the kid has already played the Grand Ole Opry. He is a Tik Tok star of course and sites Frank Sinatra and Playboy Carti among his influences. George Strait also. He will be at Steelhouse Omaha on October 12th. Tickets are on sale HERE on Friday.
